I don't mean to be impersonal, I am so glad you are here! As you can imagine I receive a lot of requests for more information on my services. It is too difficult to individually respond to everyone (especially during wedding season) so I have come up with this solution. I hope this will give you the information you need to make an informed decision! If you have specific questions you would like answered, please feel free to ask.

I offer bare minimum ceremony packages for those who are watching their pennies and are doing the planning themselves. I also offer larger packages that include a wedding day planner and day of coordinator to take care of business for you.
The Signature Package ~ $1250.00
This package is the experience I would like all of my couples to have! It is the top service without the wedding day planner, & is also the most popular & best value for your money!
It includes the Ceremony, a 7 PM Rehearsal the night before, unity ceremony, unlimited readings, and an online self guided Pre-Marital Counseling course!
A non-refundable down payment of $300.00 is required to save your date and time for this service.

You will need to apply and obtain your marriage license from your local MN County Recorder prior to your ceremony date (the license expires after 6 months). - Up to 120 Miles Round Trip From Big Lake MN or Backus MN (I will travel further with a $1.30 per extra mile fee)
- Unlimited Consult - By Phone, Text, or Email.
- Pre Ceremony Meeting - At this meeting, we will go over all the details of your ceremony and answer any questions you or I may have. This is typically scheduled to take place about two weeks before your ceremony and can be held in Big Lake at the Vows With Angie office, at our Brainerd office, or via Zoom. You can pick what works best for you.
- 1 Hour Arrival Before Your Ceremony -This allows me to consult with other professionals involved with your ceremony so you don't have to (e.g. DJ, Photographer, Coordinator, etc)!

The next group of packages are based on how many guest you will have. This is the same for a wedding, renewal, & commitment ceremony. These options include exchanging vows and rings (if you just want your marriage certificate signed continue on to the simple signing packages).

Add-Ons
Bare Minimum Packages are provided with the idea that you are only paying for what you need. The following add-on services are not required but you may want them for your ceremony. These options can always be removed or added on later.
Rehearsals - 2 Options
Vows With Angie to provide your ceremony music (you select the music and VWA will download it and run it through the microphone PA using bluetooth and an Ipad). This way you don't have to worry about who will run it. - $175.00
Witnesses Provided for you:
Pre-Marital Counseling
- 7 PM Rehearsal the night before (typically done after the Groom's/rehearsal dinner). - $185.00
- Early Rehearsal any date or time you would like (as long as VWA is available when booked). - $285.00
Vows With Angie to provide your ceremony music (you select the music and VWA will download it and run it through the microphone PA using bluetooth and an Ipad). This way you don't have to worry about who will run it. - $175.00

- Rehearsal Travel fee (Only If Over 60 Miles From Big Lake or Backus MN) - $1.30 per mile over 60 miles (over 30 miles for license signings)
- Ceremony Crew - Ceremony set up and take down (we don't do party tents) - $600.00
- Reception Crew - Reception set up and take down (we don't do party tents) - $600.00

- Online Self-Guided Course *Gives you a $75.00 discount when you purchase your Marriage License- $475.00
- Full Course - In Person *Gives you a $75.00 discount when you purchase your Marriage License- $575.00

Simple Signing Of Your Marriage Certificate
Just need your marriage certificate signed?
With this option we are just simply signing. No exchange of vows or rings. I ask in front of your two witnesses if you both wish to be married & that you understand that by us signing the certificate it is legally binding. If you both say yes, we sign the certificate.

What is the process? What is the flow from beginning to end of our journey together?

First thing is first.
We need you to feel comfortable with trusting Vows With Angie to run your ceremony. When you are comfortable and ready to lock in your date, simply go to the Book Here or scroll to the bottom of this page.
Select the service that you would like and select your date on the calendar. As long as your time comes up, your date and time are available. Follow the directions and make your non refundable down payment.
Once you have done this I will be notified and I will send you a welcome email including an electronic contract. You would read through it, answer the questions, sign, and submit it.
Once you sign and submit the contract, I will send you another email letting you know that we are all set, & that your date and time are booked. It will include a link to your ceremony planning portal and your password to access it.
When it is convenient for you, you may visit your portal where you will find questions about your ceremony and resources to help you plan. This can be done anytime 24/7 from when you are given access until after your ceremony. There is also a link provided in your portal to schedule our pre-ceremony meeting. You can schedule it as far in advance as you would like but the goal is to meet a couple weeks before your ceremony.
About 30 days before your ceremony I will send you an email asking you to schedule our pre-ceremony meeting if you haven't already. We can meet at the Big Lake MN office, Brainerd MN office, or via Zoom.
We will then meet on the scheduled date. At this meeting we will go over all the details and answer any questions you or I have. I will probably make you think about little details that can get overlooked. We will talk about the flow of the ceremony and look over your marriage license together to make sure we are all set to go. Then we finalize the remaining balance and take care of that.
Then you go about your business. Doing all the fun other things that you have to do for your wedding. Meanwhile I am writing your ceremony and making sure to include your requests. I am also planning and organizing your rehearsal if you requested one.
For your rehearsal I show up at our scheduled time. Check in with you to make sure there are no changes. I then introduce myself and explain and show your wedding party what will be happening during the ceremony. We will go through it until everyone feels comfortable.
Your wedding day! I will show up at the ceremony location an hour (1 hr 15 min if I am running the music) before your ceremony start time. Once I arrive I locate the DJ if you are having one to mic check. If I am providing the mic I will set it up right away and check to make sure it works properly. Then I take in the scene of your ceremony. I check to make sure everything is in order. I make sure the unity ceremony items are set up if you are having one.
I then go find both you and your partner (individually) to make sure you don't have any last minute questions or changes and let you know that I am there. If you are having your marriage license signed before the ceremony I will then collect the required signatures. If you are having anyone read I will look for them and make sure they know what to expect and that they have a print out of their reading. Then I quietly wait for our start time. Just before we begin, I will check with the wedding party to make sure everyone is ready, and then SHOWTIME!
But it doesn't stop there! Nope! This is why a professional Officiant is so important!
Then you go on with your evening celebrating! I finish filling out your marriage license. I make a copy of it to keep on file and email a copy to you. I then mail it to the proper county.
The county will then mail you your marriage certificate. I have five business days to do this.
