Our Bare Minimum Services
Our bare minimum services are set up for you to pick your main service and then add on additional needs from there. Don't let the name fool you! These are still quality options!
The differences between the packages mainly comes down to the kind of ceremony you need & how many guests you are inviting. This gives us an idea of how big and involved your ceremony will be.
Renewal of Vows, Weddings, and Commitment Ceremonies use the same packages.

- Simple Signing of Marriage Certificate. - We will travel to your location, or you may come into our Little Falls office. The first 30 miles are included in this fee; however, there will be a fee of $1.30 per mile after the first 30 miles from Little Falls or Backus, MN. This is a quick, easy process that does not include an exchange of vows or rings. We ask a few questions and you say I do or I don't:) in front of your two witnesses (16 years old or older). We all sign, and we file the certificate for you! You will need to obtain the Marriage License from your County Recorder's Office before the date of our signing.
- There is the "Just Us" package - Small, intimate exchange of rings and vows. You, your partner, your two to four witnesses, and your Wedding Officiant. $450.00
- The "Mini Ceremony" - Smaller wedding with 25 guests or fewer. You, your partner, and your Wedding Officiant will stand before your guests. You are gathering family and friends together to witness your exchange of vows and rings. $500.00
- The "Full Ceremony" - This is the most common. This ceremony is the traditional ceremony with Bridesmaids and Groomsmen. Plus unlimited friends and family. $600.00

- Ceremony Travel Fee $1.30 per mile over 60 miles (30 miles for license signings) from Little Falls or Backus MN.
- Rehearsal Travel Fee $1.30 per mile over 60 miles from Little Falls or Backus, MN.
- Pre-Marital Counseling - Different options available from $100.00 to $500.00.
- Ceremony Crew - Set up & tear down of your ceremony (You must provide the materials, and this does not include tent set up) $600.00
- Reception Crew - Set up & tear down of your reception (You must provide the materials, and it does not include tent set up) $600.00
- Day of Coordinator (DOC) - Have someone with you all day to make sure everything runs smoothly. For a complete list of duties, click here (Link coming soon) - $2000.00

First things first.
We need you to feel comfortable with trusting Vows With Angie to run your ceremony. When you are comfortable and ready to lock in your date, simply go to the Book Here or scroll to the bottom of this page.
Select the service that you would like and select your date on the calendar. As long as your time comes up, your date and time are available. Follow the directions and make your non-refundable down payment.
Once you have done this, we will be notified, and we will send you a welcome email including an electronic contract. You would read through it, answer the questions, sign, and submit it.
Once you sign and submit the contract, we will send you another email letting you know that we are all set, & that your date and time are booked. It will include a link to your ceremony planning portal and your password to access it.
When it is convenient for you, you may visit your portal, where you will find questions about your ceremony and resources to help you plan. This can be done anytime, 24/7, from when you are given access until after your ceremony. There is also a link provided in your portal to schedule our pre-ceremony meeting. You can schedule it as far in advance as you would like, but the goal is to meet a couple of weeks before your ceremony.
About 30 days before your ceremony, we will send you an email asking you to schedule our pre-ceremony meeting if you haven't already. We will meet in our Little Falls, MN office or via Zoom (you pick).
We will then meet on the scheduled date. At this meeting, we will go over all the details and answer any questions you or your Wedding Officiant may have. We will probably make you think about little details that can get overlooked. We will talk about the flow of the ceremony and look over your marriage license together to make sure we are all set to go. Then we finalize the remaining balance and take care of that.
Then you go about your business. Doing all the fun other things that you have to do for your wedding. Meanwhile, your Wedding Officiant is writing your ceremony and making sure to include your requests. We are also planning and organizing your rehearsal if you requested one.
For your rehearsal, we will show up at our scheduled time. We check in with you to make sure there are no changes. Your Wedding Officiant will introduce themselves and explain and show your wedding party what will be happening during the ceremony. We will go through it until everyone feels comfortable.
Your wedding day! Your Wedding Officiant will show up at the ceremony location an hour (1 hr 15 min if they are running the music) before your ceremony start time. Once we arrive, we locate the DJ, if you are having one, to mic check. If we are providing the mic, we will set it up right away and check to make sure it works properly. Then we take in the scene of your ceremony. We check to make sure everything is in order. We make sure the unity ceremony supplies are available if you are having one.
We will find both you and your partner (individually or together) to make sure you don't have any last-minute questions or changes, and let you know that we are there. If you are having your marriage license signed before the ceremony, we will then collect the required signatures. If you are having anyone read, we will look for them and make sure they know what to expect and that they have a printout of their reading. Then we quietly wait for our start time. Just before we begin, we will check with the wedding party (or DOC) to make sure everyone is ready, and then SHOWTIME!
But it doesn't stop there! Nope! This is why a professional Officiant is so important!
Then you go on with your evening, celebrating! Your Wedding Officiant finishes filling out your marriage license. We make a copy of it to keep on file and email a copy to you. We then mail it to the proper county.
The county will then mail you your marriage certificate. We have five business days to do this.
